Halle Berry an American Fashion Model-Cum-Actress's one of the most sought after models of recent times. She has worked with various top notch fashion designers and photographers.

She born on 14 August 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. Her mother Judith Ann was a psychiatric nurse while her father Jerome Jesse Berry was an African American Hospital attendant. . Her parents worked in the same hospital's psychiatric ward before their marriage. Halle's parents divorced when she was only four years old. Berry and her older sister Heidi were brought up by her mother. Berry told in her interviews that she have not seen her father since her childhood and her father has no influence on her life anyway.

Halle belongs to European descent be her mother side. Halle completed her graduation degree from Bradford High School. She also studied at Cuyahogo Community College. She participated in several beauty contests since 1980's. She won Miss teen All American in 1985 and Miss Ohio USA in 1986.

She was the one who first enter in media from African-American descent in Miss World pageant in 1986 where she got sixth position.

She received Golden Globe, SAG, An Emmy and NAACP image award. She also won an Academy Award for best actress.

Halle is one of the highly paid actress and also a spokes model of Revlon. She give her first appearance in 1991 with a small role in Jungle Fever. Then She appeared in Flintstones in 1994, Bulworth in 1998, X-Men in 200 and in its sequels. She also awarded for worst actress in 2005 for Catwoman by Golden Raspberry Award .
