The iPhone is a series of smartphones schemed and marketed by Apple Company. The very first iPhone was introduced by STEVE JOBS, then CEO of Apple Company on 9 January 2007 and come to market on 29 June 20007.

An iPhone is called a smartphone because it revealed many surprises just a touch away. Such as an iPhone can function as a video camera ( also recording your calls ), a portable media player, a camera phone with a better picture quality, and an internet providing email and web browsing.
From iPhone, one can send text and receive visual voice-mail and also have Wi-Fi and 3g connectivity, a multi touch screen and virtual keyboard.
All Apple application software are available from the App Store launched world widely in mid of 2008 and now has more than 500,000 branches or " Apps " approved by Apple. These Apps are very much unlike in function like games. GPS, navigation, reference, social networking, data security and also for the advertisement of television shows, films and cable activities.
The original GSM iPhone is That which precedes for its screen size and button placement.
The 3G iPhone also gives A-GPS location located facility and also have a faster processor , compass and video recording with high resolution camera.
The iPhone 4 has back-facing camera and a front facing camera for video calling on Skype.
A higher resolution featured iPhone 4 display 960x640. it was introduced on 24 June 2010.
Then latest version of iPhone 4S was announced by Apple on 4 October2011.
The iPhone 4S gives 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, also featuring face detection and video stabilization, a faster and dual processor with support of UMTS/GMS and COMA on one chip.
Its capacity exceed to 64 GB now. Also available in 16 GB and 32 GB until to February 2011 AT&T was the only authorized carrier. Verizon sprint and C spire are also authorized carrier of Apple iPhone in United States.
