Charlie Chaplin


Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie Chaplin" was an English comedy actor, film director and music composer. He was born on 16 April 1889 and died on 25 December 1977. Charlie was well known for his fabulous work in silent films decade. Before the end of World War One, he became the most famous actor of the Era.
Charlie portrayed many characters that became famous due to use of mimicry, slapstick and other visual comedy ways.
Even his films were famous into the Era of talk-ties films. Due to his different demanding and interesting ways of acting.
His most famous role was that of the Tramp, which he firstly played in 1914. Onward from 1914, he started writing and directing most of his films and from 1916 he also started to producing them and from 1981 he was even composed music for his films.
Charlie was one of the most popular and effective personality of the silent films.
he was inspired be a French silent film comedian Max Linder. Max was role model for his acting career and even charlie dedicated one of his film to Max Linder.
he saved film industry over than 75 years. he dedicated all his life to make people laugh, while people were facing crisis and destruction during WORLD WAR ONE.
American film institute ranked Chaplin The 10th Greatest Male Screen Legend of All time in 1999.
Even in the time of Adolf Hitler, he stayed on job of making people laugh. George Bernard Shaw was also a big admirer of Charlie and he called Chaplin is the only genius to come out of the movie Industry.
