Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is used to clean the hair when it is not possible to wash. Dry shampoo work for the
occasion its not a permanent substitute of wet shampoo. It is used to remove excess oil from the
hair. Secondly it can be used in the situation of short time or shortage of water or when one is
 traveling or on a camping.

From 1970 the products of dry shampoo are available in the power and spray form. Best brands
of dry shampoo like Batiste, Oscar Blandi, Klorane Candy Fluff can be used.These brands are
available at beauty supply stores , shopping malls and u can also purchase it online. If money is a
problem baby powder is the best substitute.

Or u can easily make it at home . How ?

• o 1 tablespoon ground almonds
• o 1 ½ tablespoons orris root ( buy it from a health shop )
• o 2 tablespoons cornmeal

Applying Dry Shampoo:

Do not spray on the scalp but only on hairs. Brush ur hair 2 , 3 times. Wait for 3 , 4 minutes then
make ur desire hair style. Dont use a blow dryer just bounce the hair with ur fingertips.

Advantages :

• o Its doesn't smell like chemical.
• o Easy to apply.
• o Hair coverup. (absorbe oil excess oil and Greece from the hair)
• o Gives bounce to the hair.

Disadvantages:

• o Sometimes leaves a dry scalp.
• o Not a permanent substitute.
• o It gives a squeaky clean but still needs a hair wash.
