Eiffel Tower


The Eiffel tower is one of the most recognizable structures’ in the word. It is iron and lattice made tower located on the champ De Mars in Paris. It’s also renowned as Le Dame De Pes, the iron lady. It was built in 1889 and has become a global cultural icon of France. The Eiffel tower is the tallest building in Paris and named often its designer and engineer Gustavo Eiffel. The Eiffel tower is the building that serves to commemorate. It’s the most paid visited tower in the word and millions of people raise it every year. The tower is 1,063 ft (324 meter) tall. The Eiffel tower was the tallest monument, man-made building in the word. While it was being constructed and it maintain "word's tallest man-made monument" title at least for 41 years. The tower has three levels. From ground floor to 2nd floor each floor has 300 steps. The third highest floor is reachable only by elevator. The tower has lifted up both Paris and France and has become the most prominent emblem. The structure of the Eiffel tower was built between 1887 and 1889. Approximately 300 hundred workers hired to joined 18,038 pieces of iron. Emile Nouguier, Stephan Sauvestre and Maurice koechlin were the assistants and co-worker of the Eiffel. The risk of audients was not ignored, so that all safety precautions were practiced. The tower was inaugurated on March, 31, 1889 and opened for people of 6 may. The tower was much criticized by the people at that time. While every newspaper was filled with criticism and insecurities of people about safety and wastage of time and money. But by passing of time, it the symbol or pride and elevate for Paris. On both levels there are restaurants, novelist, who claimed to hale the Eiffel, ate lunch in the tower’s restaurant daily. No doubt, the Eiffel tower has won the Guinness world record of the tallest monument. It’s the most viewed and beautifully relined tower of the world.
