The Palm Islands

The Palm Islands are an artificial group of Islands in Dubai. United Arab Emirates on which major commercial and dwelling Place infrastructure will be built. They are being build by Nakheal Properties, a property evolutioner in the UAE, who employed Belgian and Dutch marine and dredging contractor Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's most devoted persons in land reclamption. The Islands are the Palm Jebel Ali , The Palm Deria And The Palm Jumeirah. Each establishment will be in the shape of Palm Tree, topped with a increasing moon and will have numerous residential, entertainment and leisure centers.

The Palm Islands are situated off the Sea shore of the UAE in the Persian Gulf and will plus 520 kilometers of beaches to the city of Dubai

The first two Islands will include nearly 100 million cubic meters of rock and sand. Palm Deria will be made of approximately one billion cubic meters of sand and rock. Excavation for building stone will be in UAE.

Between the three Islands there will be more than 100 Luxuries Hotels, Special Residential Beach Side Villas and Apartments Restaurant, Water Theme Parks, Marinas and Best Serving Health Spas.

The construction of the Palm Jumeirah started in June 2001. Briefly after the Palm Jebel Ali was proclaimed and reclamation work began. The Palm Deira which is Schemed for accomplishment of surface area of 46.35 square kilometers, was proclaimed for development in October 2004
