KFC

KFC is the short form of "Kitchen Fresh Chicken  " or " Kentucky Fried Chicken " . It was originated in Kentucky by a man named " Colonel Sanders " , it is now owned by Yum! brands.

In 1940 he invented the original recipe of 11 herbs and spices for the  chicken , with his special cooking techniques, Sanders' gas station became famous .

In 1950 the original slogan was originated " Finger lick-in' good " , but now it is replaced by "So GOOD ".

In 1952 he first open a Frenches in front of a gas station in the salt lake city , Utah and after few months he sold the Frenches .

In 1969  Kentucky Fried Chicken was officially listed on the New York Stock Exchange .

In 1976 Colonel Sanders was named as the world's second most identifiable celebrity by  survey.

In 1980  Colonel Harland Sanders died because of leukemia.

In 1991 Kentucky Fried Chicken  announced to officially changed its name to " KFC " .

In 2007 KFC introduced a new recipe that keeps the Colonel's 11 herbs and spices and finger-lick in' flavor, but contains Zero Grams of Fat per serving .

In 2008 Kentucky Fried Chicken update one of the most recognized, respected brand icons with a new logo , which depicts Colonel Sanders with his signature string tie .

In 2011 there were over 17,000 KFC outlets in 105 countries around the world , mo rover www.ColonelSanders.com was launched .
